Debra Bankston CCC/SLP

Debra Bankston is an owner/partner in the practice. She received her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University and her masters from Memphis State University (now known as the University of Memphis). She has worked in the field of speech language pathology for over forty years in a variety of settings including public schools, home health, hospitals, United Way clinic, Regional Day School for the Deaf, and university. Debra holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed as a speech language pathologist in the State of Texas. Debra is a Texas certified elementary teacher and teacher of the hearing impaired. She is a certified clinician with the Lee Silverman Voice Training, LOUD, program for Parkinson patients.

Debra was on the faculty at Stephen F. Austin State University for over twenty years. She served as the Clinic Director of the Stanley Speech and Hearing Clinic and taught classes in the program including language development and disorders, clinical methods, and hearing impairment. She loves working with adults and children of all ages and their families. She especially enjoys working with those who present with hearing impairment, voice disorders, and speech and language disorders.

In addition to her work with the practice, Debra is busy with her church and family. She has maintained involvement with the Communication Disorders Program at SFASU. She is a long-time member of ASHA and the Texas Speech Language Hearing Association. Debra has often said that choosing to work in the field of speech language pathology was one of her best decisions.

Anita Scoggins CCC/SLP

Anita received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University. In addition, she holds Texas Teacher Certificates in Speech & Hearing Therapy, Language Learning Disabilities, and Mental Retardation. Anita has practiced for over 30 years, and has her ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence as well as Texas License in Speech Language Pathology. Her first employment following graduation was in the public schools. Later work settings included Early Childhood Intervention, nursing homes, hospital PRN work, as well as home health. Anita then came full circle, returning to SFASU as a Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor for 14 years. In 2007, Anita along with 2 colleagues from SFASU opened Professional Speech & Language Services, PLLC. In addition to working as a Partner at PSLS, Anita is busy with her husband, 3 children and new grandbaby. She also volunteers with school and church activities. She enjoys working with all communication disorders, however, following certification and training using PECS and Hanen, Anita became passionate about working with patients and families with late talkers, or patients on the Autism Spectrum. Anita continually says she is blessed to be in the field of Speech Language Pathology.

Corley Jobe CCC/SLP

Corley Jobe received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and her masters of science in Speech-Language Pathology from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has been affiliated with Professional Speech and Language Services since 2009, becoming an owner/partner in July 2017. Corley holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is licensed as a speech-language pathologist in the State of Texas.

She has spent the last ten years working within the public schools and in the private practice setting. Corley enjoys working with the students in the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classroom (previously referred to as PPCD) and Life Skills program. She feels that working with parents, educators and other professionals is essential for helping each child/student reach their full potential. Continuing to learn and implement new therapy techniques is important and something she strives to do. Corley has a special interest in working with individuals diagnosed with autism, those with feeding concerns, and those with speech and language disorders.

When not at the office, Corley is busy keeping up with her family. She is married to a wonderful man and her two daughters are her “pride and joy.” When not at work or school, they enjoy spending time together at the farm with family and friends.

Corley has no trouble talking about her love for speech-language therapy and the families that she works with, because she believes the saying is true, “Everyone deserves a voice.”

Diane Morton CCC/SLP

Diane has worked as a speech/language pathologist for over 40 years. Most of her experience has been in the public school setting. She has also worked at Stephen F. Austin State University, Lufkin State School, and part-time in nursing homes, Early Childhood Intervention, and private practice at Professional Speech & Language Services. She believes working in the field of speech pathology has been a wonderful profession, and she has enjoyed working with all different types of students and clients. Diane is from Dallas, TX. She obtained her B.A. in speech pathology from Texas Tech University, and her M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the blessed mother of four wonderful adult children and three amazing grandchildren.

Randi Lunsford CCC/SLP

Randi Lunsford received both her M.S. and B.S. degrees in Speech Language Pathology from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has worked in a variety of settings including pediatric home health, pediatric and adult outpatient rehabilitation, public schools, and private practice for over sixteen years. She is licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a member of the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Kelly Evans SLPA

Kelly Evans is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. She has been working in a school setting, since 2010. She has a bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology with a minor in Deaf Education from Stephen F.
